Behind VenkiDecor is Venera, a passionate floral and event designer based in New York, known for her artistic eye and ability to transform spaces into meaningful experiences.
Raised in a creative environment, Venera grew up inspired by her father, an artist whose work and passion for creating left a lasting influence on her. From an early age, she learned to see beauty in details and to express emotion through art.
After moving to New York, she built a professional career in banking. While structured and stable, her creative spirit was always calling for more. Choosing to follow that passion, she began creating with flowers from home, turning small ideas into refined, expressive designs that quickly grew into something bigger.
Her work is guided by a deep intention: to create meaningful projects for each client. Rather than simply decorating a space, Venera focuses on understanding the story behind every event and translating it into design, so each arrangement feels personal, thoughtful, and unique.
From carefully preparing each stem to designing under real-time pressure, she brings dedication, intuition, and creativity into every project. Today, Venera continues to grow VenkiDecor with a vision of creating elevated, artistic experiences where flowers are not just decoration, but a form of expression.
Our Story
The Meaning Behind the Logo
The VenkiDecor logo is a reflection of art, memory, and identity, shaped through two deeply personal creations.
Before the brand existed, Venera began working with natural elements, collecting and preserving leaves by hand. From these materials, she created a piece inspired by the ancient Goddess on the Throne, a symbol of strength, femininity, and origin. The leaves used in this artwork were gathered during her final autumn in her home country, holding a sense of history and belonging.
After moving to New York, a new chapter began. During her first autumn in the city, she collected leaves once again, this time from local parks, and created a second piece inspired by the Statue of Liberty. This artwork represents freedom, opportunity, and a new beginning.
Both pieces were completed during the stillness of the pandemic, a time that allowed space for reflection, creativity, and transformation.
When the idea of creating a business first came to life, Venera sketched these two symbols together, placing the Goddess close to the heart to represent her roots, and the Statue of Liberty on the right side to symbolize strength, support, and gratitude toward the country that became her new home.
What began as a simple drawing soon became the foundation of VenkiDecor's identity. Today, the logo carries that story: a balance between heritage and future, art and purpose, memory and creation.
